AI Acceptable Use Policy

Scope and purpose

CapiSpot provides optional AI features, including portfolio question-and-answer and investment-thesis analysis. They are intended only to provide general educational information, summarize user-provided information and publicly available company data, and suggest questions or factors for the user to research independently.

Not financial advice

AI output is automated, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and is not reviewed by a qualified financial professional. It is not investment, financial, tax or legal advice, portfolio management, brokerage, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security, cryptoasset or other investment. CapiSpot does not assess whether an investment is suitable for you. No AI output should be relied on as the basis for an investment decision.

How to use AI features

• Use responses as a starting point for independent research, not as instructions or a substitute for professional advice.
• Verify facts, calculations, prices, dates and cited information with reliable sources; market data may be delayed, unavailable or incorrect.
• Do not ask the AI to choose investments for you, provide personalized buy, sell or hold instructions, predict or guarantee returns, or determine an investment's suitability. CapiSpot's AI features are not designed to provide those services.
• Never share passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers or other sensitive information in an AI prompt.

Prohibited use

You may not use AI features to facilitate unlawful activity, market manipulation, fraud, impersonation, harassment, or to generate deceptive financial claims or guaranteed-return claims. You remain responsible for your prompts and for independently evaluating any output.

Data and third-party processing

To answer a request, the relevant prompt and necessary portfolio or company information may be sent to our AI provider. AI conversations are stored with your account to provide conversation history. Please consult our Privacy Policy for more information.

Limitations and enforcement

AI output is generated probabilistically and may contain errors, omissions or outdated information. We may limit or suspend access to AI features when this policy or our Terms of Service are violated.
